New stations dissapear on the Remula One Server
Since a few days new stations simply dissapear when you leave the system.
Is this due to the many many maaaaaaany stations that where already build by various people, mostly SW from what I seen so far and that the game just reached it's maximum stations capacity?

Indeed, the server is at capacity. So expanding that will be part of the plan for this next update.

Is there an allocation? Meaning, does each clan have a certain number of available stations or is it just one lump sum?-

Out of morbid curiosity, what is the current limit? Just want an idea of how industrious the player base has been.

Around 50,000 lines of data, each station entry takes about 10. Planned changes will be to combine each station value into one line and expand the total capacity.

How about lowering the amount needed for system control decay so that you don't have to clutter a system full of them things?

It's already fairly high and repeated requests for high cost expenditures has helped established the current level. A possible direction would be to greatly increase the build costs of stations in conjunction with increasing the decay offset effect. What seems to have brought this to the surface though has more to do with little to no counter-actions by players... that is, plenty of players/clans are building stations, but almost no one is engaging other territories and taking down opposing stations. So for now, since that seems to be the preferred gameplay direction, the capacity will be increase to better support it.How about lowering the amount needed for system control decay so that you don't have to clutter a system full of them things?

Increasing the cost would not work as Profiles are disposable (use it and toss it) the only problem is your other profiles don't get ownership benefits but if you are building for delay of decay you don't care.

Not a problem if you use a different clone for each group of stations. From post: 102770, Topic: tid=7310, author=thetiebers wrote:... the only problem is your other profiles don't get ownership benefits ....

Station destructors seem to be unavailabe at the mom. I haven't seen a station selling one for ages. Aside from that, they are darn expensive. Now, if a couple of FTs could take down a player station I reckon that you'd see more action. From post: 102768, Topic: tid=7310, author=Vice wrote:It's already fairly high and repeated requests for high cost expenditures has helped established the current level. Now, I like that idea! not sure if it would work, but there would need to be a some kind of offset from using a station det.
If it was cheaper to blow away stations, then I for one would gladly oblige.

Is it safe to do more building now? I have not seen a server update memo yet?

Not yet no, unless you want to go blow up some other clan stations.

Hmm... I guess rapid expansion of space stations is a feature of peaceful clan relations. If a clan war should break out we'd see a sudden reduction of stations with much more quadrant-wide destruction going on!

Well I for one am going on a destruction spree. Just need to get a lot of shillings together. So I hope to reduce the number of SW stations, particularly GorfBurgers. No doubt there will be a great wringing of hands, wailing of voices and gnashing of teeth, but what the hell - BA is as BA does!!! So Bossk, stand by for some military and verbal fallout.
