Where's the lore of the universe?
Evochron sort of dumps you in the middle of a part of the known universe, with no explanation what year it is, who you are, who the various factions are, etc... You simply have no clue what's going on in the universe at all, and no one ingame ever tells you. Is there a place on the web where you can find the lore of the Evochron universe, history, factions, etc...?

I read all the way through that but
I found nothing of the important info about us. The Vonari ??
I am starting to wonder about the info that I found about ourselves and if it is even valid?
From this link
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Wrait ... _series%29
"The Vonari...there is not much known about this race. Their technology is superior to human technology. The Vonari are an intelligent, martial race of canine bipeds. What is known is that they are a powerful, galactic force that has little mercy on its prey. Underestimating humanity at first, they have now realized the strength of the Terran race and are increasing the power of their attacks..."
Maybe we are in fact Apoidea. Bee like insect creatures as SkyKing mentioned in a post months ago.
I am having a crisis of identity
Vice can you tell me? Are we a race of canine bipeds or Bee like insects?
Help!!!

Wow, there's so much... I thought this was just the second game of the series. Never knew "starwraith" was the name of this game's predecessors. From post: 135043, Topic: tid=9196, author=capt_cronic wrote:try here; http://www.starwraith.com/forum/viewtop ... 6#pid66133

A Bee like Canine Vonari would be very relative to your perspective of what the differences are between Bees and Canines. They could very well be relatively related!......

I too would like to know what the Vonari official look like, according to Vice.
Seeing as long as they have been warring with humanity, an intact specimen or two would, no doubt, have been recovered. In which case, humanity would know what the Vonari look like... and I imagine Vice himself must have a general idea...

Lol, yes I do seem to remember that little factFrom post: 135090, Topic: tid=9196, author=Marvin wrote:The Federation never saw a Romulan during the entire 1st Romulan War.
Indeed it is true the Vonari could be much the same, taking drastic steps to avoid capture or having their advanced technology recovered after a defeat.
We may never know what the Vonari look like, but judging by the nature of their spacecraft, I'd wager the Unknown may well be the "greys" of modern day rumor...

Not sure what the resolution to your identity crisis will be. The Vonari have been with us, seems like forever. Popular opinion seems to indicate the Canus Astrum option. I recall the Clan [VON] stipulating to their being an "upper class/senior caste" of the Von race we're battling so often. In a mode akin to the Klingon primary - client races. Hope ya figure it out.
In one of the earlier EM builds, we were given the Unknowns, and Actarius "woke up". A few builds later, we had Unknown incursions into the Cerulean system, masked as Vonari on the HUD. Eyes-on target - same form factor as the Unknowns, same performance envelope in combat scenarios. As I recall, the HUD ID'd them all as Vonari "B" models, in the Cerulean incursions. The battles were ferocious! Mophead, Air Assassin, Powell, and I answered the call in Cerulean on one occassion. Powell and I laagered up, back-to-back, pill-box fashion, 360 coverage. AA and Mophead played the "Legend of Nigel", and hearded the victims towards us. Fish-in-barrell shoot! Great fun! Don't know if they're Greys, 'bots, or approaching human. Intel is positively non-existant on this matter.

I do hope the Vons are in fact Bee-like. I heard that Winnie the Pooh's Great, Great, Great, Great, Great, Great, Great, Grandson just got drafted. The kid's gonna be our greatest hero!!:P:P:P:P:P
Oh BTW Von, Thanks for your apparent horror at being associated with my kind. I'll remember that when I apply for Special Ops clearance with the Humans!;)

I am offering a 1M credit reward for anyone who can capture a live vonari and post pictures/videos of it.
As the vonari are never found outside of their spacecraft, and the spacecraft always explode when they are...destroyed, there is absolutely no chance that someone will succeed. The relatively low sum of 1M is just there as an enticement.
From what I recall from various correspondences with Vice, the vonari are larger than us, their faces are dog-like, but they are covered in scales and somewhat reptilian. Their home planet has higher gravity than ours, and so they are accustomed to harsher environmental conditions.
Notice that I do not capitalize vonari for the same reason I do not capitalize human.
I believe that the planets in the Vonarion system are not their original home planets, but that they have established colonies there. They are expanding their empire, just as we are.
As for lore about the Alliance and Federation and all that, I do believe there is a chronology somewhere.
