New player here

Was bought the game for a valentines gift from the wifey, took me a while to get the hang of it, but those tutorial movies on YouTube by SW3D helped immensely. Quite enjoying it now, I've been looking for something that plays similar to Elite Frontier for a while now (the X series is alright, but quite hard to get started with), this games really fits the bill.

I've not tried MP yet, can anyone recommend a good server for an English speaking, UK based player?

Not sure which servers would be good for a UK based player. If you haven't already, check out this thread which was put together very nicely by fellow player "[SW]Viper". http://www.starwraith.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8676

It has a plethora of information regarding servers and pretty much anything Evochron related.

Maybe its just me but I have never had any troubles with this game even though I have high latency connection with almost all servers.
There is only one server where my ping is less then 250ms but I can happily play on any of the other serves and barely notice any lag or warping.
