Hello everyone.
I'm completely new to this game. Saw it on Steam and instict just told me to purchase it. All I've done so far is doing the tutorials, doing some SP, and some messing around on a private server with a friend.
I picked the Miner/Trader background (not sure how it influences everything) and started doing some early quests to earn some credits.
After a while I noticed the IMG mission notice in the chat log. Keeping the exact details vague from here on to prevent spoilers!
After finishing the first series of quests I received a notice that I could find a reward at certain coordinates. I first warped to a location in the correct system. Then I ticked in the coordinates and warped there. However, I can see nothing in my vicinity nor does anything pop up on the scanners. My question is, how can I find the reward? Any reply or U2U reply is much welcome! Thanks!

Are you sure you entered those coordinates in the correct sector? The message you got from IMG should mention a specific planet or station, fly there first so your sector coordinates are set (or simply mouse over it in the nav map so you can get its sector coordinates then type them in), then set your location coordinates.

Hi Coiyon Turon, welcome to the game and forum...Hope to see you out there some time!...
Also when you get to the right Coordinates, you have to look carefully and sometimes you have to get very close or approach the coordinates at a certain angle to see the object. Sometimes te Object is on the Darkside of the Planet and you have to get very close to it before you see it, or it is hidden in the rings of the planet close by so some flying around and search is some times necessary!......

The problem was that the planet that gave the system it's name was actually on the border of two systems. Appearently I was on the wrong side of the planet, in the wrong system! Found the reward!
