First of all I'd like to say hello and express how excited I am to try out and play this game! I do have one question for all of you however.
I enjoy playing flight-type games with a controller as I played a LOT of Ace Combat on the PS1/2. I have a joystick (Logi.3D Pro), but I've never been able to be as comfortable with it. I got an Xbox controller for X-mas and have had a lot fun using it. When I saw this game I bought it right away on Steam and set out to find a compatible way of using the controller with this game.
There was a post here linking to various profiles including an xpadder profile for an Xbox controller that seemed to work very well. Unfortunately the link to the dropbox page 404s.
My question to all of you is if any of you have this profile, or a similar one that works well with the game? I am excited to try this game out, but I want to try to get used to it with the controller. I played a lot of X3:TC with my joystick and was never able to transition well to the controller, so I was not really able to take much of a relaxed stance when playing.
Thanks for any replies!

Hello from Steam, one question!
Hi and welcome Uber_Hobo.
I use a stick X52 system and can't help you with the Xbox controller.
I do recommend using a stick for this sim. It works great.
Someone will most likelly help you with that controller here!

Hello from Steam, one question!
Thanks all for the warm welcome! Looking more and more into the game, I'll probably play just like X3, left hand keyboard, right hand Joystick. If anyone still has any idea where that xpadder profile went to though, I'm sure there are others who still would want it! Thanks!
