Dont know what to do.PLEASE HELP

Hi all,i just got the game,but i quite unsure on what to do,i am told to land at a cretain station for missions but i cant find it,i find the map very hard to use,also is there any good youtube vids to show how to progress with the game?I played alot of x3 TC but i find this game very hard to get into,any help would be great,Thanks

Start here with this training video on Navigation: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ixVO-bVDXQ Other training videos are available in that channel. Be sure to also read the instructions that come with the game. The nav map may seem complicated and difficult to understand at first, but once you have a few basics down, it will become easy to use.

Hi Shea,

Imprinted indelibly on my memory is the total wtf feeling I had at the beginning of the BEGINNING.

It is a wonderful journey.

I found that if I turned off all the labels on all of the objects I could see them better. Hey, there is more than one planet in Sapphire!

Then I found that the scroll function of my mouse would zoom in or zoom out the nav map. And because all of those labels weren't there, I began to see planets and gates and moons and...

I found a planet I was supposed to go to! And it was even in Sapphire! LOL. ( It only took me three weeks.)

Mousing over any object will bring up its name. And for me it was a good way to learn where things were.

In no time at all you will have every gate in the Evoverse memorized just like the veterans. (cough, cough.)

Just take your time learning things. There is no rush. And as the weeks go by you will have wonderful discoveries, tons of fun, and a growing knowledge base.

If something is too difficult, just back off and think about it for a while, or ask any of us. Help is only a comm burst away.

Hopefully the videos are helping. Try finding a populated server and join in chances are someone can help if ya need help. I was amazed at how much i learned in short order...
