MANY THANKS.....

Post by SHADOW STAR »

Hey everybody,

I recently had to uninstall Legends from my computer to do some testing and now I'm looking for a quick way to fill in all my lost coordinates on my navigation map. I'm sure I had all of the MAJOR stuff there already. Is there a post or website that would have most of those coordinates so I don't have to go exploring again? --:o;):o;)

--Thanks again for all of the help,

Yeah, the strategy guide is still pretty helpful. I know it's got the hidden planets and there's also some posts about some of the hard to find systems like Wolf. I think I kind find the rest from there. I should be used to this. I always played by the honor code, so I always started over from scratch whenever I lost my ship for any reason. Well, thanks for the help again. --;);)

O.M.G.!!

--I'm more then just a bit surprised to say this. When I re-installed the game from the downloader all of my information and preferences were saved! I didn't think the downloader could do that. It must have though, because it was completely uninstalled at the time. Thanks for the help guys! --:o:o:D:D:P:P

Hi

There are a couple of out-of-game maps/atlases - Hitchhikers guide (to the Legends Universe) and a website that gives all the coordinates of everything in Legends, I'll try to track them down (I've moved over to EM) and let you know where they are - alternatively, try searching the threads for Hitchhikers guide and Evochron map :)

Hi

This is a stand alone but you can find anything inthe the Legends universe (so easily that Vice has encrypted everything in Mercenary so as not to spoil it)

I'll try to find the website map again - again everything is listed :)

Hi

This is the web based map (search by object/system)

http://www.applicationgroup.com/Legends/search.asp

but they do make finding things very easy so you might want to be selective about what you search for, otherwise its like reading a walk through without playing the game! :D

I go with Shadow Star's Honour system - I used the two guides on the basis that I can buy OS maps in 2010 and so should be able to buy the equivalents in Evochron and tried my very bestest not to "cheat" and look up hidden planets/gates/containers etc - even succeeded some of the time! :D

I really recommend that you get hold of Mercenary - "Legends on steroids", harder to succumb to cheating yourself, better graphics, new ships, refined weapons, build your own stations ya da ya da ya :P:P

Anyway, it's not my business to tell you how to enjoy your gaming, other than to hope that you enjoy the evoverse as much as I do ;)

You'll find that doing a back up to an exernal drive helps - if you remember t o do it, which, unfortunately I don't always remember to do, though, in mitigation, I can plead old age! :)

I really didn't expect to see a reply to this post again because it was so old to begin with; however, THANK YOU VERY MUCH! I've only got a few things that I haven't already found that I wanted to add to my collection. Time to find them--well, that's another matter. This will make it much less frustrating. Thanks very much for your help.:);)
