Hi All
I have ship frame:ferret,engine 10,shield 10 ,repair C3 ,Cannon Reley sys ,shield boost X5 ,cannon Maxim R a Beam cannon-neodymium ,
I had before ship Venture-civilian.

ratting 117 Competent,,paid contracts 111 ,military rank 1 ,kills 37

I know to doing military rank in war zone.there are very hard missions.
- 7 hostiles is many -I dont have chance = on start I want 2 hostiles
- 1 missilles is my death=I use countermeasure
- I have cannon Maxim R and his fight range is 700 m.Hostiles is distant 450 m and my cannon dont hit.

What I doing bad? Thank you for answear and I am sorry for my English .

Hello PavelKaza, give yourself a chance to learn to control your ship and weapons. Your cannon is a good one and it you keep your distance away from your attackers to about 600 to 650 you can destroy them. The distance can be controlled by IDS off and use reverse thrusters. Take your time and destroy one at a time (the nearest one is best). If it was TOO EASY it would be BORING. Welcome to the forum and the Sim. See you out there sometime.:)

Hi PavelKaza.

7 boogies is a normal scenario and thats the "easy" part of warzones. The trick of handling multiple
boogies is to use "drifting" (Thats inertial drive) in about 1500-2000. Never fly straight at the enemy. Instead
put your nose a little off center so you will pass them with some distance. Then just keep your nose at them while drifting. Incoming missiles will seek your heat signature, so don't use your afterburner/thrusters
unless you're turning to go for another pass. Use missiles/Guns/lasers when the appropriate range allows
it. This is a very basic strategy in fighting. With some practice you will laugh at 7 boogies.

Try it out and see if it's getting any easier. (It will):P

"Welcome Aboard Pavakaza"...All good advice listed above from Tbird and SeeJay remember to take your time and Joust your enemy by making passes at them and when you have them down to just 2 or 3 go in for one on one combat using cm's when the red indicator for incoming missiles comes on...you can also shoot down the missiles with cannon fire ;)

Hi PavelKaza

welcome to EM. Yes at first those hostile can look mean with their number + missile.

Just give yourself some time to get to learn the control of your ship. Giving enough time you will see that 7 are as easy as tanking candy from the Von.

Come Mp if and when you get a change . I am sure someone there will be more then show you a trick or 2.

I try inertial system off and is it difficult , and how I use brake or slowly speed ?
This metod flying was used in the film Babylon 5 ?for imagine: :D:D

I use a mix of IDS and inertial. If you use IDS while at 2000 of inertial, the ship will slow down. The ship also turns more quickly using IDS, but in a more predictable way.

Hi PavelKaza, Welcome to the game and forum....the better you train and have a difficult time in the beggining with a medium to competent ship the better you will be with handeling the more advanced ship in the future....so take your time figuring the ropes with out getting killed in combat. Combat missions do not have time limit to complete. So you just have to figure out how to avoid getting hit and how to hit the enemy one by one. Also hiring a fleet and a Weapons Ops and Engineer can improve your repair speed and weapons range and efficiency...;):cool::P

Also don't forget the reverse thruster.. default is / key I believe. I've mapped it to a joystick button.

I have some question:1.where I find system Glacia? Is it secret?
2.How much is hidden or secret systems , stations and planets ?
3.May I hire some on improve exploration ? (engineer = fast repair)

Yes all military frames are the same, they cannot handle crews. They all have 5 equipment slots, no cargo bays, 8 missile hardpoints, 4 countermeasure pods, level 10 engines, level 10 shields, good agility and no room for crew. The only difference between military frames is the name, look, armor, agility and space for fuel tanks.

I have not used research stations but my understanding is they increase the technology level of available goods at a nearby station rather than allowing you to "research" anything per se.

its no go ,no no no no doesnt know fight. 3 hostiles I killing his fight strategy. I fly INS off ,speed 1000 ,with INS on I have speed 709 ,ship Sentinel and Crew Weapon skill 95 % ,,,
,I see your and we are flying 1500 normally and still turn round.I dont undrestand it.I will merchant only it is easy..

I doing IMG quest cerulean construct escort mission.1 waypoint -8 hostiles it is hard,

In SP hire a fleet to help you then fire them. Good luck. In MP ask Pilots on=line for help with the mission.;)

I managed with a load of 8 exodus missiles. Concentrate on the immediate threat (closest enemy to you escort)
If you fire your missiles at the right moment, one shot - one kill, it will be no problem. The only way to improve your fighting skills is to try different approaches. For me with vonaris it works to give the enemy a good taste of your guns while strafing past them and then send a missile up their ...... behind! :P

It's a totally different story to face a human opponent like the old baggers. They know all the tricks in the book.
The upside is that they (me, rookie, included) will helpd you if you join MP.

Just keep on practicing fighting.

Trade starion can not be build 1 sector next to another station. And only can be build with in 50,-50 in the sector. So to to build it close to the center of the sector if you can. Work with it for a bit and in no time you can build it everyting you want to that is build able
