As some of you might remember, about 1 year ago I tortured my Netbook with Evochron Legends and for a while it worked well, though with average FPS of 8 to 10, until I decided to replace the Netbook's XP with Windows 7. Then at least EL did not work anymore and, seen from the game's point of view, I must have looked like somewhat Missing in Action.

Some months ago, I got a new computer, tried to get EL to run, but it always crashed with lots of different runtime errors. So I gave up.

And now I got that nice e-mail where Evochron Mercenary was promoted, I downloaded the demo at once, installed, played, and it's great again!

I'm back home, but its better, more beautiful (and thanks to the new computer also playable

) and probably also more complex.

Thank you, Vice, for your continuous efforts regarding the Evochron universe!

Perhaps I'll catch you on at some point this go round haloterm, as I too recently purchased Mercenary(from Gamersgate in my case). The game is just such a leap over the last one, on top of also having a proper PC now to play it on at some point.

There's an option in Win 7 somewhere to make XP games compatible.

@MindYerBeak: Tried all possibilities, simply did not work. But who needs EL anymore, when EM works so greatly?
