Greetings, fellow alien mashers. I've been out of the gaming circuit for a few years and am now able to devote some time to gaming once more.

Sneaking around YouTube revealed Evochron and I like the cut of it's jib, me hearties, aye. Me and Jim Lad are looking forward to climbing into our ricketty old ship and exploring the universe.

Most of the better games today are made by independent programmers as opposed to games studios with a multitude of personnel. I'm all for giving my financial support to such creations. Sims are few and far between nowadays and seem to cater for the younger element rather than the more mature audience.

Unfortunately I'm in the process of moving, so will be unable to begin Legends for a month or two. I'm in the process of building a sooper dooper Cor Blimey gaming rig utilising a 4 core processor, though haven't decided on a graphics card as yet.

I use a Thrustmaster HOTAS joystick, so have to dig out the software for it. Gawd knows where the discs may be. I need Foxy to program it and I think the disc has gone to the Land of Lost Biros. They'll take some digging out.

So, me hearties, I hope to see you shortly sailing the wondrous depths of our eternal universe, supping grog on Alpha Prime or thereabouts. Should you see a ship in distress it's probably me. If you see my ship weaving from side to side it's the effect of my grog ration that's to blame. Don't grass me up to the coppers or you'll find yourself in the brig alongside Jim Lad.
