Mining Materials

So far these are the only materials I've found that can be mined:

Platinum, metal, diamond from asteroid fields
Oxygen from planet atmospheres
photon particles from nebula clouds and stars

Are there anymore, and what are they?

P.S. Thank you for all the help. I've had numerous questions, and I'm starting to get it all.

I have mined water from some sort of cloudy area in space (near a planet I think) and if you are close enough to the surface of a planet, you can mine biologicals, and depending on the planet, gold and some other things.

Cheers to you AnakiMana.....I agree with MM. There is so much to do and find without having to get shot or shoot some varmint poking his nose into your mining affairs.

skooter0104 have a Great time exploring and mining! there are a lot of ways to earn some big credits just by thinking outside of the Box

Where are the best places to sell mined materials? Which ones tend to sell the best or make you money faster?

That depends on what system you are in.
If you stay in Sapphire, then Port Rivoch is likely to pay the best
for mined ore, but remember that EVERYTHING you find, mine, or buy in Sapphire is worth more the farther out you go!

OK... Here's another noob-ish question... Is there a way to increase the size of each cargo bay slot or get past 5 slots of cargo space? Let's just say that I see the value of mining...

"5 cargo bays is max on civilian ship and 25 units per cargo bay".....and only 1 item per cargo bay when carrying missile, guns and other hardware
