Hi all,
I've come back to EM after a while away.
I'm currently putting together a personal audio mod package mainly just collating music I like from various games and using them in EM following the naming convention outlined in the Customization Guide.
I was reading the section governing sound effects, as opposed to music, and I'm wondering can multiple radiochatter.wav files be used by the game? If not, is there any way this could be implemented?
I really love the radio chatter, it's one of my favourite immersive features, yet by this stage I am very familiar with the same chatter file. If the game supported an array of radiochatter.wav files I would be a happy puppy.

It doesn't at the moment but it does support modded radio chatter. Inked Mike created a comprehensive one and there is a long one based on real ATC chatter - most of it sounds very appropriate. So you can at least change the chatter file when you get bored.

I think that the links to some of the earlier chatter files are defunct but I have copies. U2U me with your email address if you're interested.
One is 30 mins but sound like a slowed down chat! One is about 5 mins but quite good. It all depends on what you want - stuff you can understand or just background to 'ignore'
