Required ranking to get military ships

Hi everyone I'm new as you can tell...right now I'm a Mercenary doing combat missions in combat zones trying to build up ranking to get a military frame. Right now my rank is 31 but I still can't get any military ships. It keeps saying "Assembly Left -60" everytime I try changing. Sooo am I forgetting to do something or do I need to build up more ranking? (I'm sure this question has been asked so if there is a thread on it please link me, I tried using Search but had no luck) Thanks!

The first few military ships only have room for small fuel tanks, that is where the "Assembly Left -60" most likely comes from.
Try changing to smaller fuel tank.

When you reach Commander (MIL) you have access to all MIL frames.

As MiaZ explained, the assembly number reflects how many assembly points you have available. Military ships don't allow for any modification other than fuel tanks. Ergo, if you are swapping out a civilian frame, you might need to either sell off some of your equpment or store it ... else you might lose it when you make the swap. 'Cause anything still attached to one of those -60 assembly points will be dumped.

Assembly, in EM you can customize size of fuel tank.
Maximum for military ships = 2400 fuel.
To can buy any military ship you need status Commander( 150 military missions in war zone or 75 spy missions in war zone).

The Shadow knows...... and is the first mil frame that comes hard-wired with ALL 8 eqpt and 2ndry wpns slots. Points to ponder........
