Hi,
Evochron has stopped working for me when using the customisation kit.
I used to play it using the kit without a problem.
when i start the game, an error message appears saying:
** file error: menu8blank. **
I tried deleting the file menu8blank and then the game starts now, but when i try to launch the game it gets to about 98% and then another error comes up saying:
** insufficient cockpit data, no reflection layer found**
Please can anyone help?
I bought the game through steam originally when the problem began.
I have since downloaded the client from here and re-registered to see if that helped but no joy.
I really want to get back on i love this game :-(

sounds like you installed the whole kit to the game
it does not work that way.
the kit offers example files, it is not a complete mod you can just "drop in" the game.

I didn't realise the files included in the kit were just templates. After getting rid of those and using just the mods I can happily say I am now up and running again.
Thank again for great support from a great community!
