New Player Greetings and Faldirah

hi.

I am Ged Tigeriei, and i have just joined the Evochron community today as a trader! I enjoy platinum mining, long rides through a nebula, and paper mache. Sadly, i believe i am one of the last really great buddhist poker player, and seek to revitalize this tradition through liberal use of Ancient religious relics as collaterol for my high-stakes games.

After my first full day of gameplay, i couldn't be more excited for the adventures which await me here at Evochron! Personally, i am interested in joining a guild and exploring the far reaches of every system! Space may be just another frontier, but i plan on mastering each planet methodically nonetheless!

Sounds like [IM] or [UE] are the best clan choices for you.

Yes, i believe so too. However, i am considering procuring a military ship frame at some point. As yet, i have only ventured into the first couple systems in the Talison war zone, and thus only saw some very basic options. When i work up some funds and some upgrades and some bravery, i'll go out and try to get ranks/frames! Thank you for all of your wonderful advice this morning! It helped a lot!

Hi Ged, welcome to Evochron! There are several great clans out there worthy of joining. The Universe Explorers [UE] is just what it says on the box... explorers of the universe, although I like to think of us more as adventurers. We also have a fledgling fighter wing to escort UE explorers in dangerous regions of space. I'd recommend joining a clan whose members game-time coincides with your own time-zone.

Ged, if you can make it on Sunday,* Denny, Starbuck and I (and other IM pilots, if they have time) will escort you into a war zone. We don't care which frame you fly ... civilian or military. Having the option to choose either one is always the best bet.

* Noon Pacific time ... whatever that equates to in your own time zone. If it's too early or too late, let me know and I'll try to adjust.

Yes, i did join them. I'm sure you guys are also fantastic. I just have a friend IRL who is a member and wanted to hang out with him in game.

Lately I've had to swap stuff out to play EM so, when I do play, I go for the long haul. Which means I'll probably be logging on to G1 earlier than 12:00 noon, Pacific time. So I should have plenty of time to build up territorial % and also do a bit of war zone combat.

Sunday. Always on Sunday you can find me on G1. Other days too ... but not always and not always at the same hour.
