Potential New Player Here

Hey all,

I have been itching for a decent space sim/mmo with replayability that has the delicious mining/resource gathering and unique item hunting aspects along with Multiplayer options (PVP, CO-OP, Clan wars etc).

Basically something along the lines of Eve but less of a boring and unbalanced sink and more of an enjoyable pick-me-up immersive experience. I am very tempted to purchase Evochron off of Steam and I was wondering if all the things I have mentioned and also heard about the game are true? I also hear the community is small but great - very positive things!

Any feedback would be most appreciated.

Hi Hatesauce, I would say download the demo (I guess U R talking about Mercenary) and try it out by doing the training as It gives U an idea of what to expect. Welcome to the forum and hopefully the Sim.

This is by far the best space sim / community
I've ever played / experienced.

Also, the best support ever by the creator, Vice

You can reinstall the demo (90min) as many
times as you wish..

Hello Hatesauce. Welcome to the game/sim and community. Not sure if this is the best show in town, but I 'm aware the other two developers/producers are sending the Boss Christmas and Birthday wishes.

Hey, welcome Hatesouce!

Yes this is a wonderful game full of all the things you wish other space sims had. In addition, it is still being developed by Vice, who is looking for new and better things to implement. So it's not only a great game, but it's only going to get better!

The demo is a good way to get the feel for the game, but I think the most important thing to do is watch the tutorials on YouTube/play the tutorials in the demo, because those will explain the more technical details of the game, and give you a better idea of whether this is actually what you are looking for.

I hope you are convinced, because we can't wait to see you in space!

Hi Hatesauce,

As the others said try out the free demo, it will give you an overall feel for the game... but remember beyond the restrictions of the demo lies an infinite universe that can be traversed seamlessly in real time. If you like open-ended exploration/trading/mining/fighting you will never give up playing this game! The only warning (which should be included on the website!) is that your social life will be seriously compromised!
