question about trade post

ok so ive been looking for a asteroid belt that i can setup a space station near but cant find one more then 2 sectors away from another trade post so i need to know if theres a asteroid belt or cave that is 2 sectors away from another trading post.

There's usually a trading station in the same sector as an asteroid belt in every system. Where are you looking?

It depends on which server you're using (assuming you're doing this in MP ... in SP, there should be plenty of systems). Don't limit your search to star systems linked by jumpgates ... try some of the many systems found out in the boondocks. There are lots of planets with nearby asteroids ... and no trade stations whatsoever.

Plat beams are only available in high-end economy systems, like Pearl. Doesn't always appear.

in un charted systems hidden between the gates linked ones

here in some planet city you can find even diam or gold mining beam, for cheap
