New Player - Exile

I'd just like to introduce myself.

My handle is generally Exile in most games and online situations.

I was looking for a good space sim and may have found it.

I'm sure I'll have questions in the future, but for now I'm just looking to stick my head in the door of the community and let people know I'm here.

I'm looking forward to seeing you all in multiplayer sometime soon, however I must admit that I'll be spending a while in Single player in order to familiarize myself with the controls and eccentricities of the game.

I've spent some time on youtube watching the gameplay training videos while I waited for the game to download.

It seems to me like this sim has pretty much everything I have been looking for from Newtonian flight mechanics to player driven economy and free form gameplay.

I'm very excited to jump in and learn the ropes.

I'll be sure to direct any questions to the proper threads in the forums if such questions come about.

Yo Exile! Welcome to the game/sim and to the community. Solo Play is all fine and well. Multi-Play on the net is even better. As you may have drawn from the welcomes you've received, there are those of us who are more than willing to aid and abet a new pilot to the Evo-verse. Lots of PvP available, if that's your forte'. Lots of helpful folks, anyway ya slice it. Come on in, the water's fine!

I played only one session in SP then tried MP. Never looked back after that.

Very friendly out there and you'll learn much quicker. Lots of fun to.

Hi Exile,

Hello from one noob to another. I have only been playing for a couple of weeks and really love this game. I am also anxious to try the multiplayer variant but am still learning how to do some rather basic things, like not getting blown up in dog fights!
