Bug: Fuel Converter cannot be equipped in Hangar screen.

The Fuel Converter appears to be the only piece of equipment that cannot be installed on the hangar screen.

The workaround is to transfer it to your cargo bay instead (assuming you have one), and then install it on your inventory screen. (right click).

You need to have an empty equipment slot and be docked at a Station, Carrier or City and then right click on the Fuel Converter in your Cargo Bay to transfer it to a equipment slot!

Now if you have assigned the right click of your mouse button to do something else then it might not work!...

Ah, so you can equip it from your cargo bay - but not directly from the hangar.

Odd bug.

That is correct!...You have to transfer it from the Hangar to your Cargo and then to your equipment slot.....

If you have an empty equipment slot, the fuel converter will be installed when you buy it. Otherwise, you need to either sell something or store something to make room for the converter. Shuffle things around.

I didn't know anything could be installed from the hangar. Never tried it. I just use the hanger for storage ... because you can install stuff when docked.

Because it is the only equipment that works only if you have a tractor/mining beam installed. So without a tractor mining beam installed the default assumption is that you are trading fuel converters and buying one or carrying one does not serve any other purpose without a tractor/mining beam!.....

One would expect it'd be the same chunk of code that's handling the installation validity logic though; regardless of where the device is being installed from.
