Newbie help - using the tractor beam?

Hello! Just started playing the game tonight, went through the tutorial and began my mercenary missions, but am having a hard time with the solar panel cleaning mission. I am at the panel, but do not know and cannot seem to determine how to actually using the beam to clean the array. It is currently in my "equipment" area, but clicking it has no effect.

Please help, these panels need to be cleaned!

And because I found the answer to my own question - here it is.

If you hit ALT-B you will engage your tractor beam. Make sure you are close enough to the panels and begin moving your beam around the panels, you'll see them get cleaner. Do this to all the panels in the array and you're done!

One thing I would say is that it would be AWESOME to have that simple fact embedded in the text you get when you accept the mission, it took me nearly an hour before I found the EvoM youtube channel and then it was 20 seconds to my solution from there.
