general questions, I went through 5 pages and coun't find the answers to them

Mining: How do you do it? why is there no ingame tutorial
Adjusting speed: my maximum speed that I can set for IDS to control at seems to be around 558, is there anyway to change the maximium set speed?
Jumping: Is there a way to make it jump only too a way point, or does it have a set distance it jumps?

Hey and welcome, you youse mining tractor beam to mine from different kind of surfaces.. many guides can be found here http://evochron.junholt.se/

default key For ids x is numpad 7 to decrease 9 to increase for example to x5

open your navigation map right click on the sector you want to jump on, you can also click gates or stations by right mouse key which makes the jump closest to the point you safely want.. But never click on planet since without navigator in your crew you will end up IN middle of the planet and die

Also the distance in sectors you can jump per jump depends on the class of your jumpdrive.

Class1: Jumps 1 sector at a time!
Class2: Jumps 2 Sectors at a time!
Class3: Jumps 3 Sectors at a time!
Class4: Jumps 4 Sectors at a time!
Class5: Jumps 5 Sectors at a time!
Then there is the Mantis Jumpdrive which you can say is a Class10!.....:P
