Recommendations for PC upgrades for playing EM.
I'm playing on a Windows 7 operated AMD Athlon dual core. My old computer broke down once and I had to get a new one really quick, so I bought this on a sale. It was sold as a low-budget computer and only cost me €299,-. I did purchase an Nvidia GT 220 1Gig video card for €99,- to increase the graphic capabilities a bit, and added some memory I still had from the old puter. But that's all I changed on it. I sometimes wonder why people spend so much money on upgrades to play the game, because I don't consider my computer to be a high-end one at all and in the end it only cost me around €400,- and it plays the game wonderfully with all my graphics card settings set to the highest. It's just incredibly slow when loading the game, takes around 2 minutes I reckon.
I do have a really expensive monitor and keyboard/mouse combo, but neither is necessary to run the game.
All in all, I was pleasantly surprised when I noticed that even my low-end rig was able to run the game as smoothly as it does while still looking stunning, and I didn't need to make any investments what so ever, contrary to so many other games out there today.

I agree Viper, I had my doubts with the demo but was surprised with the outcome.

Captain Cronic plays this game on 3.0 GHZ single intel core with 2.5 GB ram and a high end graphic card perfectly and competively!
