IMG mission is gone

Hey guys,

thats my problem:

The last IMG mission i tried was a bit to heavy (protecting a Navy ship) So i improved my ship. But now I can not start the IMG mission again. I can not find it on Olympus Delta, where it is suposed to be.

Is there a way to get this thing started again, or do I have to start the hole game frome the beginning???

Did you check "View Last Quest message" to make sure you are at the right Station. Also scroll through the Available Contracts, it might be hidden between the other available contracts!....

First of all, thank you very much for your reply.

Checking the "Last Quest Message" was the first thing I did. There I find the contract description BUT there are no coordinates. And the Navpoint is gone. Thats why I can not find the place where I have to jump AND (thats what I suppose) that's the reason why I can not find the Mission on the Planet anymore.

To cancel the mission isn't possible either, because the game shows me, that I am not on a mission.

Is it possible that saving during a mission leads to this problem?? Tried to save, but the game told me, that during a contract saving is not possible. But maybe this caused a bug so that I am trapped now??

It is been a long time since I have done the Quest. If I remember correctly some Quests just gives you a name of a System and a Station Name or Planet Name and to Dock at that Planets Main City. So you might just have to find the System, Planet or Station and no Coordinates where given! If you give the number of the Quest you are on at the moment some one might be able to help you with that specific quest....

When I did this mission the first time, I got the contract on Olympus Delta (the mission is to protect a Navy ship until it is able to jump). The nav-piont was near the planet.

But now I can not find the contract on Olympus Delta anymore.

When you load up your profile, up on your left when selecting the profile you have
some info about the profile.

What Quest number is displayed there?

I might be able to help if I have that number.

One more question: Does the progress of the IMG missions depend on the Profil, if one starts as Miner or Mecenary for example?

I started the game as miner.

If you start a new profile from scratch, you will start from scratch in the Quest as well.

If you just change ship in your current profile, it continues.

You will not see the Quest if you start as a Combat Pilot I think.
(I stand corrected if I'm wrong here)

Yes, thats clear. But are the IMG missions for everyone the same (Miner, Trader, Racer ect.) or are there differences (in missions and order)?

Same quest for all, but as I said, I don't think you see it when starting as a combat pilot.
