Repair System

I bought a C3 Repair System for my ship, hoping it would automatically repair hull damage. It doesn't seem to do anything though. Do I need to activate it?

It works, just slowly. Dock in a station (do not enter though) and look at your repair bill, you can see the damage going down!

If you think that's slow, you should look at the level 1 repair system!

Just kidding, like the guys said, it works, it just takes a few seconds per percentage of hull damage. And like erkage said, look at it while docked and you'll see the cost of repair continuously decreasing.

If you're flying a civilian ship, hire an engineer ... he will hurry things along.

Jingo, you may find the different station/carrier/constructor locations have slightly different repair "speeds". Carriers and Converter/Constructor stations are best though, time-wise, if you don't have enough C-bills to pay the repair bill. Which is another method of rapid repair.
