As with other open world games such as this, I find that a wiki is a fine replacement for not only a tutorial system, but a manual and "assistant". I personally am new to Evochron, but find it's potential to be fascinating. I am glad to see this title is still in development and that a mod community is in place. I do think with the community I see here, a wiki could be easily drafted by the mass. I'm more then willing as a web host to provide you with a wiki to work with, but I would totally want the upcoming expansion in compensation
Seriously though a wiki would go a long way into helping us noob's sort out the details without pestering the common players with repeat questions over and over. It would also go a long way into attracting solo players who might over look the complexity of this title due to a lack of gathered resources to refer to.
I'm asking members of this forum to "sign" this petition request to hopefully entice Vice into opening an official wiki site.
Vice is very busy (as a one man band) developing the game and responding to our never ending requests for extras, tweaks etc
I've already created a Hints and Tips Guide plus a "background story" Mercenary Technical Manual, both being availbale from SeeJay's site (along with a tonne of other stuff that SeeJay and lots of others have developed)
If this is the sort of stuff there is a demand to see in a Wiki (given you can download it NOW!) AND if Vice OK's it as canon then I'm willing to add the stuff I've created/collated into the present "skinny" Wiki

ps - there are few Wiki's out there but the most comprehensive is for the older Arvochron game. The EM Wiki really only has one entry about the Fulcurm Jump Drive at the moment

@DaveK, yes these are all the resources new players will need and more! But I think Mohobie wants official info on the official wikipedia's website!......There is already some but not extensively as made by the comunity members own sites!...

I hope not - as long as Vice approves of the content then others can do the donkey work; personally I'd rather let Vice concentrate on game improvements and depend on the community for hints, tips and help!
