Hey, I apologize if this has been an issue before and solved or what not. I have just bought this game as I have a day off from university with the snow and have been desperately trying to find time to play this game. I loaded up the tutorial and everything seemed VERY fast, if I tried to turn my ship it would do 20 full rotations before I could see what happened, when I try and roll it rolls a full rotation with a hairs touch to the keyboard, and all the text, ships around me, and mission timers are going extremely fast where I can barely see something before It's gone again, I have seen some videos of gameplay and heard good things so I can't believe this is the normal game, does anyone know of something I can do to solve this? Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
Running on Windows 7 Ulti, 4GB Ram, 2GB graphics card ATI.

The problem relates to a specific hardware configuration and the game's timer system. The fix is in testing now and will hopefully be rolled out as an update shortly. I'm working on getting this out as quickly as feasible.

Thank you very much, and for the fast reply! I am very very anxious to try this game as it looks amazing. I will check back later in the week to see if there is an update. Guess it's time to play game number two on my list then.
Cheers,

Issue with game running too fast
Another newbie here. I just bought the game from Steam and on my computer it was way too fast to be really playable. I tested it for a while flying around the space stations and even down to the nearest planet but the controle were much too sensitive.
Google brought me here and I already downloaded the test version 1.788. But... I still could not play the game. My fps count dropped down to something like 1-2 so now it is far too slow to do anything. I didn't install it over the old version, because I don't think Steam would like that. So I installed it to a new directory. It found my profile and settings, though.
Technical data: I have a Core 2 Quad [email protected], 4 Gb RAM, GeForce 9800 GTX (512Mb) and Windows XP SP3 32 bit. It should be powerful enough to run the game, considering how fast the Steam version is going.

Thanks for the warm welcome! But when I click the link that MiaZ left, I get an error saying I am not permitted to view this forum. And the link left by thetiebers takes me to version 1.728. I could be missing something. But Im not sure.
Just in case it might help, here is my system info:
Core i7 920 @ 2.66GHz, 6 GB of ram, PNY 1 GB GTS 250, Win 7 SP1 64 bit
Thanks for the help!

I believe you need to 'right-click->save link as' http://www.starwraith.com/evochronmerce ... ry1788.exe so you can download the executable file. From post: 124526, Topic: tid=8358, author=Noasj wrote:Thanks for the warm welcome!
