First off, hello :)

Love this genre yet I've never even heard of this game, much less played it so looking forward to getting my teeth into it. Couple of questions on multiplayer that I hope you can help me with.

How does it actually work? :) For instance;

Do built stations stay constant on the server>
Is there area control of any kind?
What kind of shape does warfare take (if any)?
What are the consequences of player death?
What time zone is generally considered the most popular?

Clear to see that the community is a real credit to the game from browsing the forums, look forward to getting blown up by you all later (when the boy naps anyway :P).

Thanks in advance, sorry for adding to the extensive workload you old timers must have atm ;)

Welcome to the game chimpster, I'll try to answer your questions as best as I can. Stations are built and can carry over from single player to multiplayer. Area control is a clan specific feature unique to multiplayer in that clan controlled stations in a specific region of space will appear in the nav screen with a percentage based on territorial control. Warfare usually comes in the forms of combat contracts found on every station, the warzones which have contracts that build your military rank and last but not least pvp, from small skirmishes to some clan warfare and organized events we call Last Man Standing. There is no death penalty, you simply respawn at your last save upon destruction. Time zones vary since we have a huge international community here. Since the current events, you won't have a problem finding others in multiplayer. Hope to see you soon in multiplayer!;)

Hi and welcome.

One correction. Build stations does not carry over between SP-MP and vice verse.
What you build in SP stays there and what you build in MP stays on that server only.

"Wars" can rise between clans for territory control.
To be a clan member you need to add [clan] to you profile name. I use [HB] SeeJay.
You also need to add that clan tag to build stations names to make it work for your
clan control. [HB] StationName

Hop on MP and join the party;)

Hi Chimpster welcome to the game and forum....Hope to see you out there some time!...;)

1. What kind of shape does warfare take (if any)?
Answer: It can take any form, square, circular, rectangular, triangular, 3 dimensional, cubed.....etc....etc.....etc!

2. What are the consequences of player death?
Answer: If you wondering about dying in this game do not worry you will die plenty of times......;):P:P:P:P:P:P

3. What time zone is generally considered the most popular?
Answer: Now with the new influx of players your own time zone would be the best for you! I have been on lately at different times and the Servers have constant activity 24/7 now. I think I need a new life!.....;):P:cool:

4. Is there area control of any kind?
Answer: Yes, clans can conquer and control systems. You can join a clan, form your own clan, or be an independant(Indie) pilot like me!......;)

5. Do built stations stay constant on the server?
Answer: Depends. Clan wars can go on and clan built stations can be destroyed but most Servers have some rules for clans destroying other clans or players destroying clan/player built stations!....;)
