Unknown files in Evochron Mercenary folder!

I have the following files in my folder that I do not know what they are any one any Idea or can I delete them?

PTR.PTR
PTR.PTR.0
PTR.PTR.1

not got anything like them, but if you can't just delete them then it means thet are being used by another programme - can you read the content?

Are they screwing anything up?

Those files don't sound like anything associated with the game. I'd check their dates and see if anything else occured around the time the files were created. I guess they could be something left behind by Norton.

I have found that a file can be moved to another location and deleted after a computer reboot if I can't delete it as is. Not sure if that would work in your case.

I'd do a Google search, Maars. Or check with Norton first to see if they're known spyware ... or worse.

They do not seem to interfere with anything so I moved them out of the folder to another folder just in case!
The first 2 had just all kind of symbols in them. The last one had text with debugging info, so the last file got me worried for me to post this thread!....
