Increasing reputation and navy presence

Hi all,

Just took the game for a spin in SP to learn a couple of things.
Still have a lot to do though, only got about 30mil after 4days of trading between Rucker and Pearl.

In any case, Pearl is frigging hostile and I was wondering how to reduce the red's presence and increase the presence of my allies?

Is it done by taking navy contracts, or do I just start blasting every cruiser I see?

Hi Wolfken.

Do navy contracts to increase your reputation. It takes some time to raise Pearl!
If you kill navy guy's you drop right away. Check your status with different fractions
in your Inventory Console.

You realise that you can make a bit more money if you buy station licences in Pearl. It means that you can buy at a discount. Obviously, you don't buy a stn licence at the stn where you sell your goodies, as the same discount would apply to selling price.

Instead of selling in Rucker, why not go just that wee bit futher to Lost Rucker - you might find that you get even better selling prices there!!

I know, I've read about the licenses.
However, I sell my plat in Pearl, buy FT's there, go back to Rucker and sell the FT's there.

Haven't found Lost Rucker yet though, is it a system or a planet? (curse my noobness)

Lost Rucker is a system.

You can find it on my map id you need help. (Spoiler Warning).

There are better trading ways and I can u2u if you want.

I've been using your site to get the hang of the coordinates so far, but now that I'm curious for Lost Rucker I think I'm going to take a peek ^^

I have to say this is one of the most civilised board I've been on, most boards are filled with namecalling when someone asks a legitimate question ^^
