i red somewhare that moving while mining incresses yeald. is this true?

also anyone know good money tips? i have been playing for a while and i havent been making much cash.

Hello wooaa, moving your beam around is what was meant by that. There are a lot of good ways to make money. One way is to mine, another is to fine containers and sell what you find in them as they never get empty. You can also buy items at one location and see them at a system farther out for more money. You might also want to get an Engineer and Sience OPs. You turn IDS of and move the beam by straffing up and down left and right or in a circle using your straffing thrusters in Inertial mode....

Jump onto MP and pilots can help you there also. to move your beam just aim your ship in circles like you are sight seeing.

Or you can become an arms dealer and make a ton of money fast if you know a good trading route. Buy expensive stuff cheap and sell it for a profit. There are posts titled "Spoilers" on the list if you want take the easy road. The real fun starts when you can buy cool %$#@ and start combat. Like its been said before get into MP. Yes. The good thing about mining on planets is that you can do it just outside the city, then you don't have far to go to sell your stuff. just have to be careful on hostile planets.

The reason I do not mine on planets is that you can not jump to a City for Auto docking without exploding...LOL...

In Space you can find Astroids close to a high profit Station and plot a waypoint close to the Astroid for Mining and just right click on Station and turn away from astroid and jump to Station for Auto Docking. This is much faster then every time flying and docking manually at a City Dock.....
