Depends on how much you want to spend. I use the Logitech 3D Pro, and it suits me fine. It's reasonably cheap, has about 12 programmable buttons, it's comfortable to use and very easy to set up.

I use a X52 system and it works great with EM.

You can probably get one for 70-80 euros.

I use a Saitek Cyborg EVO, 12 buttons and a hat switch is enough for me.

Thanks for all your help, some of the expensive ones look really nice but the Logitech 3D Pro looks like the one for me, just looking for the best priced one now.

See you all out there thanks:)

My Saitek 45X just gave out on me today. I wanted to to get the thrustmaster warthog but at 500 bucks I couldnt swing it especially since it doesnt have a rudder. I have already tried the Saitek 65x and while it is a hardware work of art the software wouldnt even center. Totally useless!! what a shame!!! I ordered the 52x pro today. I know I will be happy with it but for the next 4-5 days I am limited to only one universe til it comes in.... See you then

I have the Pro...never had the X52 so can't compare. Before getting EM it had been years since I had played flight games and wanted to update to a HOTIS. I like the system but not the software. It is very nice being able to get into a dogfight and not have to find that all important keyboard button :)
