Starmaster mayhem
Well guys, today I have been toying with different medium and heavy frames to build a fighter out of a civil frame and the end result is a beast.
Since I played many other space sims who let you play as a military opperative my roots point in that direction too.
I loved flying the "truck" though, don't get me wrong but after flooding my account with a few billion trading military hardware in Pearl I figured it's time to construct a fighter out of a civil frame.
Mostly because the military ones, who I all tried out when I started playing this game are a bit lacking when it comes to the benefits of a crew and the 5 equipment limit.
My new version of the Starmaster is the type of ship that I truly enjoy fighting any foe with, took a few hours of trail and error and later some sliding around with the size and position in the shipyard to make it all look sleek and neat.
Hat off to Vice with the shipyard options, truly amazing how you can design your own ship.

I've grown to appreciate a souped up Strarmaster myself of late. It's become my favored ride, even for most combat missions.

Starmaster mayhem
As a souped up Starmaster driver I would like to see some more modification options on frame level.
In my current setup of 8 equipment, 2 crew, 8 hardpoints and 4 cm packs I would like to see the option to shift more slots for equipment since I like to build myself a "one size fits all" ship or a all purpose ship if you will.
I be happy to shift slots away from the cm packs who I rarely use as it is to more equipment since I now haul extra equipment in my cargo and swap it out in time of need.
From what I read the ship is less responsive carrying cargo and storing the equipment in stations all the time is also not a favorable option.
As human nature is constant problem solving I see this problem the same, so it should not be any different in a virtual environment.
From a pure personal point of view if I was a spaceship construction company in the Evochron universe and a customer comes to me saying "I would like more room for equipment in my ship, can you find a solution to my request?" I would see if that was possible.
A ship like the Starmaster is big enough so room should not be a real issue.
Where can we post or send suggestions regarding this?

I would assume that a piece of equipment in a cargo hold would impact the same as a mounted piece of equipment. I could be wrong in this of course.

I would also like to see the possibility of adding more options to this ship. possibly use civ rank and some quests to unlock additional space.. Yes, I wouln't ask for more, just more freedom in shifting what is already given.
Ever since I installed that Anti-Missile system my CM use has dropped dramaticly so nowhere near 99 are needed and they are just wasting space in my ship.
Atm my ideal frame setup at this moment would be 9 Equipment and 3 CM systems instead of 4.
But maybe max the Equipment and the Hardpoints to 10 so you can toy around with the available points would be nice.
The additional hardpoints might come in handy too for bringing an emergancy Fulcrum Torpedo or 2 next to your Excalibur Pack just to feel a little safer if things go out of hand.

Adding the possibility to exchange more equipment or hard points could open up more interesting configurations of the shipframes. Keeping ships balanced o.c.

I for once would like to see the rest of the ships buffed up, because it seems that they are inferior compared to the Starmaster. No arguments here, 90% of the players fly the Starmaster..

I'm out of equipment slots and can't mount my "Pilot system C5"...
